Updated President's Message 2026

Here we are in 2026 and my second year as NCPRIMA's President! What a fun ride it has been.

 The board is working hard, planning events for this year. 

 Our quarterly meetings have been scheduled, but we don't have all the topics yet. If there is anything you would like us to consider, please let us know. As always, breakfast and lunch will be provided. You can register for the events [here].

  • January Quarterly Meeting: January 30, in Durham, NC 
    • Topic: The Risk of AI in Public Risk Management. 
  •  April Quarterly Meeting: April 24 in Randolph County
    • Topic: TBD 
  • July Quarterly Meeting: July 24 in Craven County

We are very excited to announce a brand-new event at TopGolf in Greensboro on May 15th. This event will raise funds for our scholarship program. You can register to attend or sign up for sponsorship opportunities [here].

 As always, the NCPRIMA Annual Conference will be at Wrightsville Beach! However, our dates are a little different this year. The Annual Conference will be held September 20-23. We will have another year of excellent topics, networking opportunities, and fun.  Our conference attracts public entity Risk Managers, Safety Officers, HR Professionals, School Personnel, and others interested in Risk Management.  There are always great opportunities for everyone.

 We are not quite ready for you to register, but please hold those dates!
